2005 Wine Club Reserve

Every year, we put the winemaking in the hands of our Wine Club members for one day and every year they produce a winner. At the club's Spring Bash last year, we gave them the following tools--some Merlot, some Cabernet Franc and some Cabernet Sauvignon. What they came up with is a blend of 60 percent Cabernet Sauvignon, 30 percent Merlot and 10 percent Cabernet Franc. This special blend, of which only 485 cases were produced, is bursting with black cherry and blackberry fruit framed by moderate tannins.
